Painted all we can paint. Hung all the wood paneling we could hang. Hopefully by this time next week, it will be finished.

also, i am laying on some paint today.  finally, some color!

finished the tile

yesterday we finished pulling up all the remaining tile and chipping all the grout up.  the electrician and contractor are in there getting all my new lights, outlets, phone line, and walls put in so today i wont be doing a whole lot of construction on my part.  the kiddo is sick from school so i will mostly be ordering things i need online and making phone calls to check on insurance, signage, flyers, ect.  always something to do when you are opening a business i am finding out.  feels good though.

that was hard work.  i finished the tile pulling today with the help of my fiance, Katie.  i have a few hours of clean up tomorrow morning and the floor should be all prepped for paint.  i dont know if my body is going to let me get out of bed though.  i was not made to pull up tile.  i was made for making tattoos.  good talk friends.

that is how i am since yesterday when i received the keys to the shop.  the sign had been designed and i have put in my app to the city planning office to get my permit for it and then i have it made.  i drove to austin today to pick up some kick-ass wood paneling for behind the tattoo stations from my sisters, live-in remodel.  and now i am finally home after 9 hours of running around trying to get as much done as i can.  now, i prepare to eat.  what shall me and the fam eat?  much more to come.  but you can also follow me on the Liberty Tattoo Co. facebook page as well for more updates.

Location, location, location

It's all about the location! I found a great one that I am meeting with the landlord at 3 to go over the lease agreement. Fingers crossed! Liberty Tattoo Company might have found a home! I'll post later with an update. Wish me luck

heading to Austin

heading to do some tattoos tomorrow in my home town of Austin Tx.  i have so much to do here for the shop, but i still need to take care of my clients there.  i will and always do, work at Triple Crown Tattoo on the east side while i am there so feel free to  come say hello.  as soon as i am back, i am hitting the streets looking for more rentals spots and tying up what i can.  it was a great week away with my fiance and stepdaughter, but this week is all about Liberty Tattoo Company and making tattoos.
